I’m sorry for taking such a long hiatus. I’m sure you didn’t miss me as much as I hope you did, but I’m still sorry.
My mental health hasn’t been super cute and fun lately, so I was just taking some time for myself, you know? Maybe I’ll write about it, we’ll see.
Anyways, let’s get down to business!!!
I realized it’s been a long time since I exposed my search history to you all, so I’ve finally gathered a bunch of google searches that made me want to elaborate.
Enjoy, my pets. (yeah I agree, let me never say that again)
You know when you’re in a pool, ocean, or other body of water of your choice, and your waist disappears? I’ve always wondered why being in the water suddenly turns into a vacuum for your insides. The verdict is still out on this one. Google just talked to me about how drinking water is good for you, which was not! my! concern!
Physically I’m in my apartment, in a busy city, working from home, and avoiding an existential crisis. BUT, in my head I am living my cottagecore fantasy. I love flowers more than Oprah loves bread, I promise you. A Trader Joe’s trip does not exist without me buying a bouquet of flowers. Opening a flower shop has always been a dream of mine, because I love making floral arrangements, and I was wondering how one acquires flowers in bulk to do so. I don’t have a master plan yet, but I will keep you posted.
I was rewatching Vampire Diaries for the third time and it dawned on me that Damon is Stefan’s OLDER brother. Elena is 17 in season one. Stefan was 17 when he turned, therefore he’s 17 forever. Damon however was 25 when he turned, therefore he’s 25 forever. THIS MEANS that Damon fell in love with a 17 year old Elena. Sir, read the room. It is not 1864. (I’m still #teamdamon though…)
Does anyone have that one person they’re attracted to, but don’t know why, because it is very unlike them? Well, Diplo is that for me. I was googling the look that made me rethink everything about what my “type” is, so that I could send it to my friend. Look at this man and tell me you feel nothing.
Quarantine provided me with the time for a long awaited room remodel, and so I’ve constantly been looking at furniture and room decor. If I had to describe my aesthetic, it would be 80s meets Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette. As you can imagine, this makes it very hard to find things that actually fit my vision. I’m such a hoe for a good formica bedroom set. That shiny ass laminated look really does it for me. BUT NO ONE MAKES THINGS LIKE THAT ANYMORE. If you find anything you think I’d like, given the one line description of my aesthetic that I provided, please send the links my way. I’ve been drooling over millions of vintage finds that I can’t afford, so it’s going great!
Well there you have it. Not super juicy or embarrassing this time, but definitely something to think about.
What’s the last thing you Google searched that made you giggle, or maybe even blush?!
